Examples:

  • Joomla questions must be posted in the Joomla category.
  • Billing or service questions must be posted in the correct customer/service category.
  • Feature requests must be posted in the appropriate feedback or request category.
Posts may be moved, merged, renamed, or closed by moderators if they are placed incorrectly.

4. Use clear and descriptive topic titles. Topic titles must clearly describe the issue or question.

Good examples:
  • Code:
Joomla update failed after extension update

  • Code:

5. Provide Enough Information

WhenΒ  Asking for Help:

Support requests must include enough detail to understand the issue.

When relevant, include:
  • Website URL
  • Joomla version
  • PHP version
  • Browser and device used
  • Exact error message
  • What you were trying to do
  • What happened instead
  • When the issue started
  • Steps already tested
  • Screenshots, if they do not expose private information
The more precise your post is, the faster and more accurately support can respond.

6. Do Not Post Duplicate Topics

Before creating a new topic, search the forum to see whether the issue has already been discussed. Do not create multiple topics for the same issue. Duplicate topics may be merged, closed, or removed.
If your issue is related to an existing topic but not the same, explain the difference clearly.

7. Keep Topics Focused

Each topic should cover one main issue or question. Do not mix unrelated issues in the same topic. For example, a Joomla update problem, an email issue, and a billing question should be posted as separate topics. This keeps discussions easier to follow and easier to solve.

Spam and promotional content are not allowed.

Do not post:
  • Unsolicited advertisements
  • Affiliate links
  • Promotional links
  • Repeated marketing messages
